To provide services and supports to refugee and immigrant families, promote awareness and advocacy for quality, inclusive services as well as for community places and spaces that are welcoming of refugee and immigrant children and their families.
Refugee Family Assistance Program (RFAP) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by refugee women to address the needs of refugee families with Developmentally disable children in the various refugee communities as they start a new life in the United States. Our objective is to provide services that will build stronger and more diverse communities. We accomplish this by facilitating the social and emotional adjustment and cultural transitions of refugees and immigrants throughout Metropolitan Atlanta
